Unique, Rustic Garden Teak

Not long ago, this gorgeous rustic garden Teak furniture was the “root” of a tall, stately Teak tree. Having grown safely in a protected goverment-controlled Indonesian Teak Plantation; the roots after having been cut off from the tree, were abandoned as waste.

Just a little foresight, creativity and willingness to go and get their gnarly, strong and interesting roots, changed their future. And TODAY there is a fabulous, unique, functional and comfortable piece of rustic garden furniture created from something that was simply going to be left in the ground.

This is one-of-a-kind “God-Art!”

All of the reasons Teak is so desirable and lasting, are resident within each piece. Look at the color and hue of the grain. Look at the configuration of the piece. It’s like looking at a cloud. The longer you look at it, the more you will see . . . like maybe the head of an elephant, or a pelican or perhaps even a whale or a tiger. It is a the strongest and most durable exotic wood available, having been the choice for luxurious ship builders and expensive outdoor manufactured furniture across the centuries. Rustic garden Teak is a conversation piece, ready to grace any outdoor or indoor location. In fact, you may be surprised where your Teak Root actually ends up!

The care of natural Teak is very simple. An occasional application of Teak oil or spar  urethene is all that is needed to keep its beautiful color and sheen. If you choose not to do that, the Teak will eventually turn a soft, dove gray. Either way it is gorgeous! Teak withstands all types of weather and can live in any state or climate. Teak gives termites and other bugs a toothache, so it will never be damaged by wood eating critters.  Believe me, you’ll never be sorry for having purchased a beautiful piece of Teak root.  As a matter of fact, we suggest putting it in your Will, since it’s definitely going to outlive all of us.  :)
